Academy teams are all players ages 4 and 5 training on the same evening(s). Academy players are not assigned to one specific coach but to a Coaching Staff. The Academy format pools all players together, allowing the staff to focus on developing your player's skills. At the beginning of the Academy program players will be grouped together by age and then as the sessions progress the players will be grouped together by skill level.

Practices start on Monday, August 12th, 2024.

All boys and girls will practice at Howerton Soccer Complex, (10000 Dickey Rd NW, Silverdale, WA 98383) on Field #4 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00pm - 6:00pm. Practices are held twice a week through Wednesday, September 25th, 2024.

Picture night is Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, during normal practice time. You will be emailed the photographer's picture packet a week in advance and there will be printed copies available on picture night. Each of the players will take their individual pictures first, then we will take a group, Academy, photo with all the Coaching Staff.

NOTE: Even if you elect not to purchase photos please come to picture night, so we may have ALL the registered players in the group, Academy, photo.

FREE Academy t-shirts will be issued to players during the second week of training, (or sooner if possible).

Our young members should come to practices in their FREE Academy t-shirt, black shorts, black socks, shin guards and cleats or sneakers. Plus they will need a bottle of water or other hydrating beverage. For safety reasons players are not to wear jewelry, watches, sunglasses, hats, gloves or scarfs during practices. If a player has a medical bracelet or a medical necklace, please ensure it is taped down during practices.

We ask you to stay during the practice sessions to support your young one, to assist him or her, if they need to use the porta-potti.

For your comfort, households are encouraged to bring along your lawn chairs or throw blankets to relax on, while you watch your player(s) practice session.

For your safety, please stay off the fences, off the goals and off the nets.

Please leave your furry friends at home as the "NO PETS" policy is enforced.

At the end of the season the Academy will celebrate with medals for each player, plus vanilla cupcakes and juice boxes. The boys and girls Academy's "End of Season" party is Wednesday, September 25th, 2024, at Howerton Soccer Complex on Field #4 during normal practice time.
